Basilian Associates

The Basilian Associate program offers adult Christian women and men of varied circumstances the experience of coming together with the Sisters of the Order of St. Basil the Great in living their mission through the sharing of their faith, their vision and their hospitality:

• Their faith – a healing presence
• Their vision – seek new ways to serve
• Their hospitality – reaches out to the broken, needy and unlearned

The Basilian Associates purpose is:

• Deepen Baptismal commitment
• Share spirituality and mission of the Sisters
• Participate in the Sisters’ prayer life
• Use gifts and talents in concern for the needy
• Spread message of the Kingdom
• Witness the truth that God is With Us

Becoming a Basilian Associate

Membership in the Basilian Associate Program enables men and women to share in the life and the mission of the Sisters of the Order of St. Basil the Great.  Participants are Christian men and women over 21 years of age who come from across the country.  Members are called to join with, and to extend the prayer and ministry of the Sisters.  The commitment does not involve vows or community living.

The program enables Associates to share more completely in the life and mission of the Byzantine Catholic Church – in faith, prayer and ministry.
